Lady Gaga’s unreleased track “Garden of Eden” has already made a splash—before it even hits the public. As announced on March 5, the song will be the official anthem for ESPN’s coverage of the 2025 Formula 1 season.
The track, set to be fully released on Friday (March 7) alongside her highly anticipated Mayhem album, will be the backdrop for ESPN’s F1 broadcasts this year. To celebrate, the network shared an electrifying video on Instagram, featuring dramatic footage of F1’s top drivers and race cars flying around the track. “Introducing @espnf1’s anthem for the 2025 season, ‘Garden of Eden’ by the one and only @ladygaga,” they captioned the post.
In the video, a short preview of “Garden of Eden” plays, giving fans a taste of what’s to come. Over a pulsating dance beat and soaring synths, Gaga sings, “Go get your friends and meet me on the floor, Take you to the Garden of Eden, Poisoned apple, take a bite, I’ll t-t-take you to the Garden of Eden.” The track is the third song listed on the Mayhem album.
The 2025 F1 season kicks off officially on March 14 with the Louis Vuitton Grand Prix in Australia.
This announcement is just the latest tease for Little Monsters ahead of Mayhem's release. The highly anticipated album follows the release of singles like “Die With a Smile,” a collaboration with Bruno Mars that spent five weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, along with “Disease” and “Abracadabra.” Gaga has hinted that Mayhem leans heavily into pop, but with genre-defying elements that, as she told The Los Angeles Times, feel “almost corrupt” in their creativity.
The F1 news comes just days after Gaga, a 14-time Grammy winner, revealed plans for a ¡Viva La Mayhem! concert in Mexico City this April, ahead of a beachside performance in Rio de Janeiro. Additionally, she’ll headline Coachella 2025 next month.
